While the public transport system in Malaysia has improved drastically, many Malaysians would still prefer to drive to their destination. With that said, most shopping malls as well as other shoplot areas would have parking spaces ready for those who drive. Just recently, One Utama shopping mall has announced that they will be increasing their parking rates.

1 Utama shopping mall to increase their parking rates from Oct 1 onwards!

Starting from October 1, 2024, 1 Utama shopping mall will officially be raising their parking rates. According to the shopping mall’s website, it was stated that the previous parking rates for ONECARD holders were priced at RM1 for the first 4 hours, before observing RM1 for every subsequent hour. Non-ONECARD holders would pay RM3 for the first 4 hours, followed by RM1 for every subsequent hour.

ONECARD RM 2 per entry (cut off time 4am daily)
Parking Ticket (Non-ONECARD) RM 4 per entry (cut off time 4am daily)

It’s worth noting that the parking rates listed above will still be valid until September 30, 2024. As for the revised parking rates it was stated that the ONECARD holders will observe a RM2 parking rate for the first 4 hours and RM2 for every subsequent hour.

As for their non- ONECARD holders, the parking rates are adjusted from RM2 to RM3 for the first 4 hours. Subsequently, they’ll observe a RM2 for every hour their car is parked.
