The Tiger Crystal Food Festival, held from 5 to 8 September at 1 Utama Shopping Mall, concluded with a spectacular celebration of food and community. Attracting nearly 10,000 guests, this festival has firmly established itself as a premier event for food enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
In The Zones
The festival featured four distinct Food Zones, each offering a unique culinary adventure. The first is Tiger Crystal x CU Mart. This zone put a fun spin on convenience store classics and attendees explored a vibrant array of grab-and-go bites from CU Mart, a Korean convenience store, discovering inventive ways to enjoy beloved snacks.
Next up is Foodie Lane, a global street food haven, Foodie Lane showcased diverse flavours from around the world. From Japanese ramen and Italian pizza to local Malaysian specialties, it celebrated both international and local street food. Highlights included Blue Reef Fish & Chips, Kinori Sushi, and Warung Babi Guling Jenny, among others.
Food For All Times
Also available was Supper Club. This intimate zone offered a front-row seat to culinary artistry, featuring renowned Kuala Lumpur chefs from Ember, Fire & Slice, Harmony House, and Round Pizza. Guests enjoyed interactive dining experiences that were as entertaining as they were delicious.
Closing off the list was Dessert Bar, inspired by North Asian dessert bars, this whimsical area was a sweet retreat. Desserts, many incorporating Tiger Crystal beer, were crafted by Coley, Dao Desserts, Donut Plan, and MMM Café by Lesim, offering playful and indulgent treats.
More Than Food
On top of that, beyond the culinary delights, the festival buzzed with lively games, energetic stage performances, and the nightly highlight: the “Tiger Crystal Hour.” During this time, festival-goers participated in live trivia about the Tiger brand, with correct answers earning additional food vouchers, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience.
The festival underscored how Tiger Crystal beer, with its light and crisp flavour, perfectly complemented a wide range of dishes, enhancing the overall enjoyment for everyone. As the festival wraps up, Tiger Crystal is already planning future events, promising more memorable experiences centred around the joy of food.
