A recent post has gone viral after a woman shared the hilarious moment she realised she’d accidentally left her tudung at home after arriving at the office.
Taking to Threads, Badrina (@badrinaghazali) recalled how she left home at 6:10 AM, headed straight to work, and began getting ready in her car before heading into the office.
A frantic morning realisation
While getting ready in her car at the office, Badrina suddenly realised she’d forgotten one very important thing: her tudung.
“I left the house at 6:10 AM. I showered, prayed, got dressed, and rushed out the door. When I got to the office parking lot, I started putting on my makeup. Then, just as I was about to put on my hijab… my heart dropped. My tudung was missing,” she wrote.
It then hit her that she’d left it on the ironing board at home, so she quickly called her husband for help.
“I quickly called my husband and asked if he could bring it to me. Thankfully, he was still at home getting our child ready.”
Skilful husband understood the assignment!
To make the situation even funnier, Badrina revealed that her husband somehow managed to deliver her tudung without a single wrinkle, despite bringing it over on his motorcycle.
“I honestly don’t know how he did it, but my hijab wasn’t wrinkled at all, even though he delivered it on his motorcycle. For your information, I was so close to walking into the office wearing my telekung (prayer garment). The important thing is, I didn’t have to take emergency leave!” she joked.
The husband’s secret crease-free hack
She later shared her husband’s clever hack for transporting a tudung without creasing it.
Badrina shared,
“He said, ‘Don’t fold it. Roll it up loosely, then put it in a roomy bag. Once you arrive, just give it a good shake.’ His final tip? ‘Accept your fate and be patient if you end up with a wife like this.’
“Ten out of ten husband. A+ from the wife. A million stars. All of them!”
