PUTRAJAYA: A total of 10,109 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates obtained excellent grades A+, A and A- in all subjects, education director-general Pkharuddin Ghazali said.

Announcing the 2022 SPM examination results here today, he said a national average grade (GPN) score of 4.74 was recorded compared to 4.86 for the previous year.

A lower GPN value indicates a better achievement.

Pkharuddin said 373,974 candidates sat for the examination. He said 75,322 candidates obtained average results with at least a grade C for all the subjects.
