10-year-old boy feared drowned in Pekan

Pekan Fire and Rescue Station chief Wan Samsul Effendi Wan Mahmud, in a statement here today, said the victim, Muhammad Hafizhan Abd Zaib, was believed to have gone missing at 2.50 pm.

The search and rescue operation that started yesterday afternoon was carried out by the Water Rescue Team (PPDA) from the Pekan Fire and Rescue Station within 200 metres of where the victim was reported missing.

The operation that was suspended at 11 pm yesterday, resumed this morning. - BERNAMA
