The Deputy Prime Minister said Umno would not challenge the position of any party, particularly Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as the resolution adopted by the party must be respected.

Umno chief publicly reads coalition agreement as party doubles down on how administration should be named
He called on delegates to fortify the organisation from within to withstand upcoming political battles and ensure the party cannot be easily undermined by rivals.
This was announced by Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi shortly before concluding his presidential winding-up speech earlier.
He said the position of prime minister currently held would not have been achieved without his party's support.
