
TAWAU: Police seized 100.59 grams of Syabu worth Rm10,000 after arresting a suspect riding a motorcycle on Monday at 2.05pm behind gas station at Batu, Jalan Apas.
District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the 21-year-old undocumented suspect was arrested by a police team during Ops Tapis.
He said the suspect was suspicious, suddenly became aggressive and tried to escape after the police approached him.
A fight occurred and the man threw two packages of syabu from his right hand, Jasmin said on Tuesday.

He said the man has no previous conviction record and his urine tested negative.
The suspect is remanded for seven days under Section 39B Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
He also said the police are tracing the drug trafficking network.
