Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Head of State Golf Charity Tournament aims to strengthen collaboration between Federal and State government officials, as well as private sectors.

Sabah Federal Secretary Datuk Makhzan Mahyuddin said a total of 128 people took part in the tournament which was held in a lively atmosphere.

“A total of RM30,000 was collected through tournament participation fees and then given to the Yayasan Nur Jauhar Chairman Datuk Al Hambra Juhar,” he said when met at the tournament, here, Saturday.

The Gross Category was won by Mohd Hanzallah, followed by Jellysius Soimpon and Shaiful Batong.

Present were Deputy Chief Minister II Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam who is also the Head of State Official 70th Birthday Main Committee Chairman, State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong and Deputy Speaker Datuk Richard Yong We Kong.
