Wing Commander Kunal Sharma, Commanding Officer (CO) of 1 HP Air Sqn NCC, Kullu, has expressed immense pride as 17 cadets have been selected under the Agniveer scheme of the Indian armed forces in the recruitment held recently in Mandi.
The CO noted that all selected cadets had been active participants in a wide range of NCC activities organised by the unit. He observed that their consistent involvement in these events had been instrumental in shaping their leadership qualities, physical fitness and determination.
The CO emphasised that selection as an Agniveer was not the end of their journey but rather the beginning of a promising career in the armed forces. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence, to pursue higher ranks and to work towards earning a commission as officers in the future.
On behalf of the entire unit, Wing Commander Sharma extended his best wishes to the newly selected Agniveers, wishing them a successful and distinguished career in the service of the nation.
