“He was riding a Honda Vario motorcycle, with a 13-year-old friend as his passenger.”

At the time of writing (March 11), three more individuals are still receiving treatment at HTJ, namely,

  • Aisar’s 13-year-old friend
  • 18-year-old Honda Jazz driver
  • 17-year-old passenger in the Honda Jazz

Aisar Azim was buried today at 12:40 AM.

Incoming legal actions

Nurha’afza Salwa Hazizan, Aisar’s mother, said she had accepted her son’s demise and was ready for the possibility of his death when the doctor told her about Aisar’s critical condition.

“The doctor told me his heartbeat had dropped to 38, that was when I prepared myself.”

“His face was scarred but he looked like he was sleeping,” Nurha’afza described looking at her son before the latter was buried, reported Sinar Harian.

Aisar’s elder brother, Aiman, responded to the brother’s death by recalling the time when Aisar refused to buy a new Raya outfit for this year.

“He didn’t want to buy anything. He said he just wanted to stay at home and sleep during Raya. I never knew that was the sign that he was going to leave us forever.”

In the meantime, Nurha’afza also confirmed that the family will be taking legal action against the unlicensed Honda Jazz driver. She revealed that she received calls from lawyers who wanted to offer legal services.

“Two people died and now that my son is gone, we will fight until the end.”
