
ANOTHER victim of a tragic three-vehicle accident at an intersection in Jalan Persiaran Senawang 1 last Thursday has been confirmed dead.
The incident, which took place on Thursday evening, claimed the life of Aisar Azim Abdullah, 17, who succumbed to his injuries on Monday night.
Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din, confirmed that Aisar passed away at 7:23 PM while receiving treatment at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ) in Seremban.
"The victim was the rider of a Honda Vario motorcycle, which was carrying a 13-year-old male passenger at the time of the accident," Mohamad Hatta said in a statement to Sinar Harian on Monday.
"At the moment, three other individuals who sustained serious injuries are still being treated at the same hospital: Aisar's companion, the driver of the Honda Jazz, and the 17-year-old passenger."
It was further reported that Aisar's funeral is expected to take place on Monday evening at the Maqbarah Salimah Muslim Cemetery in Taman Zaitun Indah, Sikamat.
The tragic accident occurred at 8:30 PM last Thursday when a Honda Jazz collided with two motorcycles— a Modenas Kriss and a Honda Vario.
According to initial investigations, the collision occurred when a car, driven by an 18-year-old male with a 17-year-old passenger, failed to stop at a red traffic light while traveling from Senawang towards Paroi.
The vehicle crashed into the two motorcycles coming from the left. This resulted in the deaths of the riders of the Modenas Kriss, aged 15 and 16, who suffered severe head injuries and were declared dead at the scene.
The deceased were identified as Muhammad Aidil Ramdan, 15, and Muhammad Aswari Lotpi, 16.
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the Honda Jazz, as well as the rider and passenger of the Honda Vario, remain in serious condition and are being treated at HTJ. – March 11, 2025
