19 Muda candidates to contest in state polls

SHAH ALAM - Nineteen candidates from the Malaysian Democratic Alliance (Muda) will contest in the upcoming state polls set to take place on Aug 12.

Muda deputy president Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz said the party had submitted the list of names of candidates on nomination day, today.

"Today, 19 Muda candidates have been nominated. I send my wishes for the success of all the Muda candidates," she tweeted.

The Puteri Wangsa state assemblyman, who acted as a caretaker, expressed her desire for the upcoming state polls to prioritise clean and healthy politics and develop effective policies and services.

For the benefit of everyone, she emphasised the need to hold accountability and rectify any errors committed during the election procedure.
