Everton have failed with an offer for Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Billy Crellin.
The Daily Mail says Fleetwood have knocked back a 200,000 bid from Everton for England Under-19 goalkeeper Crellin.
A number of other Premier League clubs are trailing Crellin, who made his professional debut in the Checkatrade Trophy under Joey Barton last season.
Everton made the first move this week with an offer including a significant amount of additional clauses which would be activated if the 19-year-old were to flourish at Goodison Park.
Fleetwood rejected that and are aware of interest from others, including Wolves. Manchester United and Arsenal have previously made checks on the goalkeeper.
