Eintracht Frankfurt have failed in their appeal to allow fans to come to the game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Europa League.

The German club is serving a ban due to an incident in their game against Vitoria in Portugal earlier this season.

Fans were throwing objects and behaving in an improper manner, per UEFA.

The Germans were hoping they could reason with UEFA and have the ban overturned, but it is not the case.

"The appeal of Eintracht Frankfurt against the judgement of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Commission of 17 October 2019 was rejected by the competent chamber last night," a club statement read.

"As a result, the 'cut-off penalty' for the game at Arsenal FC on 28 November in London continues."
