Ex-Liverpool fullback Alberto Moreno is set to join Villarreal.
Moreno became a free agent at the end of last month after a five-year stint at Anfield.
ESPN says Barcelona, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Aston Villa, Zenit and Marseille all approached the 27-year-old in recent months.
He is expected to complete a medical on Tuesday before signing a five-year deal with the Yellow Submarine.
