Tottenham fullback Serge Aurier has denied claims he spat at Olympiakos fans during this week's Champions League win.
It was during goal celebrations that the controversy occurred.
Video footage appeared to show the 26-year-old spitting towards the direction of fans who were celebrating their third goal of the match.
Aurier, who has attracted recent criticism for his performances, appeared to cup his ears while facing the fans just seconds before.
Aurier has strongly denied the suggestions and says he would never think of doing such a thing.
He said: "Little personal message to correct a controversy!
"I will never spit on animals, let alone humans, let alone fans of this club that gives me the opportunity to express myself and do my job.
"Let's focus on the most important goals that are coming soon."
