Burnley are set to receive a cash windfall from Danny Ings' switch from Liverpool to Southampton.
The striker has joined Saints on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell last season.
The move is reportedly worth 18 million fee rising to 20 million.
The Lancashire Telegraph says the Clarets will pick up in the region of 2.3 million.
A tribunal ruling in 2016 ordered Liverpool to pay 6.5 million, which could rise to 8 million, after signing the Englishman in 2015.
