2,022 new Covid-19 cases, four deaths

SHAH ALAM - A total of 2,022 new Covid-19 cases are recorded on Sunday.

According to the Health Ministry data on the KKMNOW portal, there were four Covid-19 fatalities recorded.

This brings the total number of deaths to 36,652 cases, since the pandemic began.

Meanwhile, there were a total of 27,207 active cases, 25,117 or 92.3 per cent of which were under home quarantine.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,989 Covid-19 patients were hospitalised.

A total of 101 patients were admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), 53 of which needed ventilator support.

The country also recorded a total of 1,819 recovery cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of recovery cases in the country to 4,922,435 since the pandemic began.
