2 Rohingyas Fined By JPJ & Have Motorbikes Seized, 1 Of Them Holds Summon Slip That's Several Metres Long
Two Rohingya men found themselves in the crosshairs of enforcement officers from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) in Alor Setar, Kedah recently.

In one of the photos accompanying the Facebook post, it showed one of the men holding a summon slip that was so lengthy that it literally spilled onto the road.

Multiple offences

According to the post, the men, who were both Rohingya nationals, were intercepted by Kedah JPJ’s Motorcycle Enforcement Unit, also known as the Falcon squad.

Further checks revealed that both men were driving without a valid driving licence, didn’t have insurance on their motorcycles, and had an expired road tax.

The motorcycles were subsequently seized and taken to the Kedah JPJ depot for further action in line with relevant laws.

Kedah JPJ also warned that more enforcement operations are expected to be carried from time to time to ensure the safety of road users and to ensure compliance among motorists in the state.

Speaking of offences, the country’s IGP recently revealed that a miniscule amount of crimes were committed by Rohingyas:
