
Kota Kinabalu: A total of 23 participants took part in the lawn bowl level one and two coaching courses organised by Sabah Lawn Bowl Association (SLBA) in collaboration with Sabah Sports Council and the Malaysian Lawn Bowls Federation (Bowls Malaysia), which concluded on Friday at the Hotel D’Arc Donggongon in Penampang.
The four-day course was conducted by Madehi Ramlee and Ariffin Abd Gharani with Syed Zainal Syed Zin as course coordinator.

SLBA president Shuib Hashim in his closing speech said the main objective of the course is to provide platform for former athletes to become coaches in their efforts to identify more new talents.

Meanwhile, also present to give away the certificates were SLBA advisor and former president Datuk Ladislaus Maluda and Sabah Sports Council director Asneh Mohd Noor.
