Kota Kinabalu: Three undocumented people were caught at a roadblock in Likas Bay here, Sunday, at the end of a 24-day nationwide integrated operation led by the Road Transport Department (RTD).
One of them was a man in his 40s who had been riding without a license for six years before getting caught during the 10am to 1pm operation involving the Immigrations Department, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MoTAC) and police.
Apart from driving without a license, he could not prove who the motorcycle belonged to which he claimed was his uncle’s.
Among others inspected was a teenager flying the Palestinian flag from a makeshift pole attached to the back of his motorcycle. Officers summoned him for not displaying the “P” learner’s sticker.
