Kota Kinabalu: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat), which has registered nearly 300,000 members thus far, fully supports the Unity Government led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the Prime Minister.
Gagasan Rakyat Information Chief Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan said apart from that, the party supports all the efforts and continuous commitment of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Plus Unity Government in handling the problems inherited from the previous government like water and electricity supplies and roads as well as other needs for the wellbeing of the people and better development of Sabah.
“Gagasan Rakyat also supports the ongoing commitment of the GRS Plus State Government in demanding the rights of the people and Sabah as enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) and the Federal Constitution,” he said, adding these were among the resolutions made during the Gagasan Rakyat Supreme Council Members (AMT) meeting at the party’s headquarters in Alamesra here Friday, chaired by its President Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who is also the Chief Minister.
