THE Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) said on Saturday that it has awarded transfer certificates of title (TCT) to more than 300 families through the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP).
The ECMP is part of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program of the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
”Every TCT we awarded was a concrete proof that housing was not merely about having a place to live. It was about security, dignity and the assurance that every Filipino family has a home they can truly call their own,” said Housing Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling.
The beneficiaries were from Quezon City and Caloocan City.
”Under the directive of the President, we will continue to deliver services to the families who need them most. Through the Expanded 4PH, we want every Filipino family to have housing security they can truly call their own,” Aliling added.
He said the awarding of titles gave concrete meaning to this year’s observance of National Shelter Month.
”Now, that dream is in their hands. This is the service we want to continue delivering to our fellow Filipinos,” Aliling said.
