A total of 383 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Monday

SHAH ALAM - A total of 383 new Covid-19 cases and two imported cases were recorded on Monday

According to data from the Health Ministry (KKM) on the KKM Now portal, a total of eight new deaths due to Covid-19 were recorded, with one of them being a death involving a case outside of a hospital facility or brought-in-dead (BID).

This has brought the number of deaths in the country due to Covid-19 to 36,883 cases.

Meanwhile, active cases of Covid-19 recorded are at 11,414 cases, with 10,779 or 94.4 percent of it being individuals quarantined at home.

A total of 607 Covid-19 patients were placed in a hospital with 28 patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).

From that number, 11 patients needed a ventilator.

The recovered cases recorded on Monday were 355 cases, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 4,982,399 cases.
