RANAU: More than 4,000 Muslims comprising 52 contingents participated in the Maulidur Rasul Parade at the district level from the District Council (MDR) field across town to the community hall, recently.
The 1.5km long march was led by the Ranau District Officer cum Chairman of the programme organising committee, Jumain Abd Ghani together with the heads of State and Federal Government Departments, Private, NGOs, and school students.
The participants followed a religious lecture delivered by the Independent Pendakwah who is also a member of the Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee in Tanta Egypt, Shiekh Mohamed Abdel Aziz.
