SEMPORNA: The Marine Police Force (MPF) seized 403 boxes of cooking oil (each containing 17kg) from a house at Kampung Cina, here, on Thursday.

Two men who were found unloading the cooking oil from the house onto a vehicle were detained.

Sabah Region Four MPF Commander ACP Ahmad Ariffin said a team was on “Op Taring Gelora Khas/Op Taring Palma” duties when they received a tip and went to the location.

He said the two suspects were unloading the cooking oil onto a vehicle.
