Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola praised his youngsters after their defeat in the pre-season Premier League Asia Trophy.
Wolves beat champions City to win the final following a penalty shootout in China.
Ian Poveda and Adrian Bernabe both started the game and showed flashes of their ability against their defensively-minded opponents as they impressed the City boss with their attacking play.
"They played incredibly well today," Guardiola said. "It is not easy to create chances."
Guardiola felt it was a game his side will learn from.
"Everybody, not just the young players, made a good performance and we learn from that."
