A charity is offering a reward of £5,000 for information that helps locate a man officers want to speak to in connection with an alleged rape and assault.
West Midlands Police is looking for Adrian Lewicki, 31, after a report to police that a woman had been raped and assaulted in a flat on the night of 14 June in Nuneaton.
He is believed to have connections to various parts of England, including Nuneaton and Coventry, as well as Morecambe in Lancashire.
Crimestoppers, a charity that operates independently from the police, is now offering a £5,000 reward to those able to provide information that may help trace his whereabouts.
All calls made to Crimestoppers are free, completely anonymous, and are not recorded.
Alan Edwards, regional manager for the West Midlands at Crimestoppers, said: "We understand that speaking up can feel like a big step, especially in cases of this nature.
"That's why Crimestoppers exists, to give people a safe and secure way to share what they know, without ever having to give their name or speak to the police.
"Someone out there may have seen or heard something that could help locate Adrian Lewicki.
"No piece of information is too small, and your voice could make a real difference. Our charity is here purely to help keep people safe."
West Midlands Police also launched a new initiative called ‘Operation Advance’ this week, which will see high-visibility patrols take place across Coventry.
The aim is to tackle criminal activity impacting a particular area and will include specialist officers from traffic, dogs and mounted units, looking out for vehicle crime and road safety offences.
Chief Superintendent Paul Joyce, commander in Coventry, said: "Our teams have been busy planning for Operation Advance and we should see some excellent high-impact results.
"Operations like this rely on the public telling us where and when they see crime and anti-social behaviour happening.
"This helps us plan our work and take direct action earlier across Coventry."
