BEIJING: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted southern Iran at 0459 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said, reported Xinhua.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 26.97 degrees north latitude and 56.42 degrees east longitude. - Bernama
