MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Friday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The quake's epicenter was located 21 kilometers west of Mamburao with a depth of focus of 10 kilometers.
It was tectonic in origin.
The quake was felt in varying intensities across Luzon:

Phivolcs said that while there was no reported damage, aftershocks were expected.
