Australian pop-rock band brings Everyone’s A Star! world tour to KL this November, marking its return a decade after its first Malaysian show
After nearly a decade, Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) is officially making its return to Malaysia, much to the excitement of local fans.
Comprised of Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford and Ashton Irwin, 5SOS first rose to global fame with hits such as She Looks So Perfect, Youngblood and Amnesia.
The band is set to perform in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 17 as part of its Everyone’s A Star! 2026 World Tour, with the show taking place at Unifi Arena. Formerly known as Axiata Arena, the venue will host one of the group’s most-anticipated Southeast Asian stops.
Organiser GoLive Asia confirmed Malaysia as part of the band’s Asia leg, reigniting excitement among long-time fans who have waited since the group’s debut Malaysian performance in 2016.
Over the years, the band has evolved from its pop-punk roots into a more mature alternative-pop sound, earning international acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Its latest tour supports its sixth studio album, Everyone’s A Star!, which signals a new era for the group.
Ticket pricing and perks
Ticket prices for the Kuala Lumpur show range from RM298 to RM598 for standard seating, with VIP experiences reaching up to RM1,118.
Additionally, VIP packages include exclusive perks such as pre-show soundcheck access, Q&A opportunities, priority merchandise shopping and commemorative merchandise.
Presale begins May 4, while general sales open May 5.
