After months of speculation, Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer have finally confirmed that they will be bringing their ‘EVERYONE’S A STAR!’ world tour to Asia this November — and yes, Malaysia is on the list.
The upcoming Malaysian concert will mark the band’s first appearance on local shores in 10 years, since they last performed at the KL Convention Centre during their ‘Sounds Live Feels Live’ tour back in 2016. Needless to say, it has been a long time coming.
The world tour was announced back in October 2025 in support of the band’s sixth studio album, ‘EVERYONE’S A STAR!’, alongside the release of Telephone Busy, the album’s third single. The tour officially kicked off on 26 March 2026 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, before making its way across the globe.
For the Asia leg, the band will perform in Bangkok on 9 November, followed by Manila, Jakarta, and Singapore, before touching down on Malaysian shores on 17 November. From there, 5SOS will head to Seoul on 19 November and wrap up the entire tour in Tokyo on 21 November.
5 Seconds of Summer concert in Malaysia 2026: Venue, ticket prices, and more
The Malaysian concert is set to take place at the Unifi Arena on 17 November at 8 PM MYT, with ticket prices ranging from RM298 to RM1,118 across several categories.
Fans will have the chance to secure their tickets early through an artist pre-sale, which opens on 4 May at 12 PM MYT and closes at 11.59 PM MYT. To participate, fans will need to sign up via the band’s official website to receive a pre-sale code granting them access when the window opens.
The general sale will then follow on 5 May at 12 PM MYT, available through GoLive Asia’s official website or app. For both windows, the waiting room opens 30 minutes before tickets go live and fans may purchase up to 10 tickets per transaction.

Do note that the listed prices exclude a RM23 ticket fee per ticket, a RM13 booking charge per transaction, and a 6% service fee per ticket, all subject to SST. An additional 3% processing fee will also apply if you choose to check out using the GoLive Now Pay Later feature.
For fans looking to make a night of it, two VIP packages are available. The VIP standing package includes one standing ticket, early entry into the venue, exclusive access to the 5SOS pre-show soundcheck and press conference (with the opportunity to submit a question to the band), priority merchandise shopping, a dedicated VIP entrance, an on-site VIP team, an exclusive specially designed gift item, a VIP laminate and lanyard, an exclusive No. 1 Obsession wristband, and a photo opportunity in front of the VIP backdrop. Do note that the band will not be present for the photo opportunity.
The VIP Seating package includes all of the same benefits, with the only difference being that ticket holders will receive a seated ticket rather than a standing one.
