Sneakerheads took over MIECC as usual but the real “why-is-everyone-here” moment happened at the MakanLAH zone powered by Grab Dine Out, because it somehow became the main hangout spot of the entire event.
Food,drinks, exclusive collabs, freebies, games, RM500 Grab Dine Out vouchers… it was basically a mini festival inside a festival.

1. MakanLAH — Everyone’s Favourite Lepak Zone
MakanLAH wasn’t just a food area, Grab Dine Out turned it into a whole vibe.
Participating merchants were serving non-stop, the DJ kept the energy going, and people were eating, queuing, resting, taking photos, and treating the area like a lepak hub. It became the “Eh, meet me here first” spot really quickly.
And real talk, outside the event, Grab Dine Out already gives you endless restaurant choices with up to 25% off your total bill for your first visit at any restaurant, so the makan-first instinct kinda made sense.
This was also where the daily “Cari Abang Grab” contest happened. Two winners each day walked home with RM500 Grab Dine Out vouchers, and a lot of people kept coming back to try their luck.

2. The Peak KL x Diadora x Grab Collab Was The Real Hot Drop
Three words:

Peak KL x Grab x Diadora teamed up to drop two jerseys and the crowd treated it like a sneaker drop.
People were lining up the moment the doors opened. Sizes started disappearing before afternoon even hit. If you blinked… habis.
It became one of the most spotted fits around the entire hall.
3. Mountain Dew Booth at MakanLAH — Free Drinks for Every Gamer
If you bought from any Grab Dine Out merchant, you could redeem Mountain Dew Major Melon mixology drink from the Mountain Dew booth and once people realised this, the line formed instantly.
Right beside that, the ESportsLAH zone turned into a fun hangout where gamers and non-gamers mixed.
4. Other Exclusive Brand Collabs Happening Around the Hall
Besides the big collab drops, there were other brand booths with smaller activities, mini giveaways, and limited-time showcases.
5. ConcertLAH Bringing The Music & Vibes
ConcertLAH ran performances and music segments that kept the hall lively between the sneaker shopping and booth-hopping.
Even if you weren’t standing right in front of the stage, you’d still feel the energy across the venue.
This year’s LahLahLand was wild and fun and a big chunk of that is thanks to Grab Dine Out turning MakanLAH into the main character zone.
