
Tuaran: The Fisheries and Fishing Development Corporation (Ko-Nelayan) is committed to producing competitive aquaculture entrepreneurs in accordance with the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) objective.
Its Chairman, Kong Soon Choi said, in order to realise the dream, Ko-Nelayan has implemented skills training with a national dual concept in collaboration with the Sabah Regional Skills Development Department (JPK).
He said, 50 local youth apprentices have undergone skills training in marine aquaculture starting this month for six months at the Ko-Nelayan Aquaculture Training Centre Kg Laya-Laya in Tuaran.
