A woman from Sabah could hardly believe her luck after she discovered that she won the lion’s share of a Toto 4D jackpot which amounted to RM23.1 million on Chinese New Year’s eve.
According to a post on Sports Toto Malaysia’s Facebook page , the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 was split between her and another winner from Selangor.

In a statement by Sports Toto, the 54-year-old saleswoman played a System 18 ticket using a set of car registration numbers from her neighbourhood.
“I only checked the results on the first day of Chinese New Year—this big angpau is the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” she said as quoted by the company.
The woman added that she plans to share her prize money with family as well as use it for investment.
As for the other winner, who’s a 57-year-old designer, he took home RM2.2 million with an i-System 20 ticket.
He attributed his win to a customer service assistant who suggested he place a bet on a Special Draw day, saying he had played 20 sets of 4D numbers for a long time.
He also said he plans to buy a house for his daughter with his winnings and save for retirement as well.
