Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is edging closer to a move to AC Milan.
TMW says the potential transfer took another step towards reality on Friday.
Giuseppe Riso, who is understood to be acting as an intermediary between Lovren and Milan, met with the Rossoneri's sporting strategy and development director, Paolo Maldini, to discuss Lovren.
Milan boss Marco Giampaolo is currently assembling his squad, having taken over last month.
And he wants Lovren to be a part of his new look side with several centre-back's already out of the San Siro exit door this summer.
Liverpool are expected to ask for around 25m for Lovren.
