
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload rose to 64 on Friday after hitting an all-time low of 41 the day earlier. One death was recorded in Kota Kinabalu.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the rise corresponded to an increased positivity rate of 4.36 per cent compared to 2.70 per cent the day before. A total of 1,468 test samples were collected.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 14 cases, followed by Penampang (13), Tawau (6), Sandakan (5), Tuaran (4), Keningau (3), Lahad Datu (3), Putatan (3) and Kota Marudu (2).
“Ten districts did not record any new infections,” said Masidi in a statement, Friday.
He said 63 out of 64 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was in category.
