KOTA KINABALU: A total of 643 licensed roadside traders across Sabah will receive a one-off RM5,000 cash assistance under a state initiative worth RM3.215 million as of April this year.
Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasneh said the aid targets small traders and follows criteria approved by the State Cabinet in March.
Funds have been channelled to local authorities for direct lump sum payments to eligible recipients.
