Manchester United players are 'unconvinced' by assistant coach Kieran McKenna after a dreadful start to the season.

McKenna has been conducting training sessions since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named as manager.

And players feel they have been left unprepared for matches because of the Northern Irishman, according to Metro.

The discontent lies primarily with the attacking group, who are struggling to find the back of the net this season.

United have scored just nine goals this season, including once in their last four matches.

McKenna, 33, was promoted to Jose Mourinho's backroom staff after an impressive stint with the U18s.
