Shop our Editor’s Picks of new-season bags for Fall/Winter 2026, from sculptural silhouettes to versatile carryalls by Loewe, Ferragamo, Cartier, and more.
The new season brings a fresh perspective to our favourite wardrobe accessory: the handbag. Rather than simply revisiting familiar shapes, fashion houses are reworking signatures through unexpected proportions, tactile finishes, and more adaptable constructions.
For Fall/Winter 2026, silhouettes range from biomorphic and sculptural designs to spacious everyday carryalls, with detailed craftsmanship remaining central to their appeal. Some reinterpret house codes in elongated or compact forms, while others introduce entirely new signatures designed for modern life.
Here are seven standout bags that caught our eye for their distinctive shapes, finely crafted details, and fresh approach to everyday carry.
Loewe Whisker Bag

Loewe’s Whisker Bag takes an irreverent approach to everyday carry with its biomorphic, slouchy silhouette, elongated zip pullers and structured handle. Designed by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, its soft glazed leather is engineered to mould to the body while retaining its distinctive fold. The versatile design can be carried by hand, over the shoulder or crossbody, with two special editions showcasing Loewe’s intricate checked intarsia technique.
Cartier Clash de Cartier

Cartier brings its jewellery savoir-faire to leather goods with Clash de Cartier, distinguished by a clasp inspired by the stud of its namesake jewellery collection. The twist fastening allows its envelope-shaped design to shift between relaxed and structured silhouettes, and it can be carried by hand, on the arm or over the shoulder. Crafted in Florence from naturally grained leather, it comes in black, caramel and Cartier’s signature burgundy.
Ferragamo Cara Bag

The Cara Bag makes its architectural construction its calling card. First unveiled on the Ferragamo Fall/Winter 2026 runway, its three-gusset accordion structure expands to reveal a spacious, organised interior, while the signature Gancini closure integrates neatly into its clean lines. Crafted from smooth calf leather, each bag comprises more than 100 components and takes around 10 hours to assemble. Eel and alligator versions offer further expressions of its sculptural form.
Valentino Garavani Rockstud Spike

Alessandro Michele gives the Valentino Garavani Rockstud Spike a fresh perspective for Fall/Winter 2026, extending its familiar quilting, platinum-finish studs, chain strap, and turn-lock closure into an elongated silhouette. Two new interpretations put craftsmanship front and centre: black nappa is embroidered with flowers and butterflies, while glossy precious leather forms a harlequin-inspired patchwork of contrasting rhomboids. A small version in teal-green suede arrives exclusively online in October.
Louis Vuitton Mini Multipass

Versatility defines the Louis Vuitton Multipass Bag, which transforms between shoulder, crossbody, hand and wrist carry with its removable strap, braided chain, and short handle. First introduced for Cruise 2026, the slouchy design comes in Monogram canvas, grained leather, and suede-effect finishes. For Fall/Winter 2026, Louis Vuitton introduces the Mini Multipass, a petite interpretation that retains the original’s adaptable character while bringing its adventurous spirit to a more compact silhouette.
Longchamp Le Cadence

Taking centre stage in Longchamp’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, Le Cadence is the brand’s newest signature bag and major leather line. Inspired by the effortless elegance of la Parisienne, it offers a fresh expression of the Maison’s aesthetic, balancing a relaxed silhouette with the refinement of beautifully crafted leather. Supple full-grain cowhide, an unlined construction and velvety-soft finish highlight its natural richness, while the signature flap, pale gold-toned hardware, and adaptable strap add polish and versatility. It comes in two sizes and five timeless shades.
Sandro Le Grand Bazaar

Balancing Parisian elegance with everyday practicality, Sandro’s Le Grand Bazaar takes cues from the vintage briefcase and reworks its utilitarian character for a modern wardrobe. Its supple leather construction and understated, logo-free design place the emphasis on craftsmanship, while signature gold-tone hardware adds a polished finish. A double-gusset interior accommodates an iPad, documents, and daily essentials, with a double-flap detail referencing the brand’s Mambo and Mambo Pocket bags. The top handle and adjustable, removable shoulder strap offer three ways to carry it: by hand, over the shoulder, or crossbody.
