Southampton striker Guido Carrillo is waiting to return to Leganes.
The Argentine had a successful six months on-loan with the Butarque and has been counting on returning this summer.
However, the two clubs are still to find agreement over a fee.
Saints are demanding 8-9m to sell Carrillo, a price Leganes regard as too steep.
Leganes coach Mauricio Pellegrino said: "Guido is a difficult possibility right now. Economic options make it complicated."
