Dejan Lovren says Liverpool have shown they are getting "smarter and smarter".
Two second-half goals from Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah sealed a comeback win for Jurgen Klopp's men against Tottenham on Sunday, restoring their six-point lead at the top.
And after finishing second last season, Lovren says the Reds have learnt from their mistakes.
"Let's say that every season we are smarter and smarter," Lovren told the club's website.
"Definitely we've learned from all the years before and what kind of pressure we can play. We are used to it. We did it last year.
"We know what we need to do, but, like I said, let's not talk six or seven months up front. Let's go game by game. This is key."
