New Genk coach Hannes Wolf has sung the praises of midfielder Sander Berge.

Berge is being linked with a January move to Liverpool, having impressed in the Champions League this season.

Ahead of tonight's clash with RB Salzburg, Wolf told VG: "Sander is a good person, very responsive to input, incredibly smart and still young. He is very interesting.

"He is very receptive to ideas. He is still young, born in 1998, but he has already played many good matches here in Genk. He is an important piece in our plans, in the number 6 role. We need Sander at his best in tomorrow's match."

VG reports today that Genk have already turned down offers from unnamed English clubs for Berge.
