While Patrick Vieira is well settled at OGCN, Le 10 Sport says Wenger has been discussed within the club.
It's suggested British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe's management team have Wenger under consideration.
For his part, Vieira reaffirmed his commitment to Nice on Monday amid talk of Newcastle United being in contact.
His former Arsenal manager Wenger has been out of work since leaving the Gunners this time last year.
