Here’s Nicolas Ghesquiére’s latest women’s collection for Louis Vuitton, presented at the Cour Carrée du Louvre in Paris.
Once again, the fashion crowd gathered in Paris, the City of Light, for this season’s showcases. Paris Fashion Week recently wrapped and among the closing presentations was Louis Vuitton. The French Maison, renowned and beloved all over the world, took to stage alongside a plethora of global stars. Nicolas Ghesquière, celebrating more than 10 years at the house, unveiled a Women’s Spring Summer 2025 collection that surely had everyone captivated.
The Louis Vuitton Women’s Spring Summer 2025 ensemble was nothing short of ethereal. From flowy silhouettes to a stew of motifs and patterns, the collection was a vivid look into the Maison’s unparalleled savoir-faire. On the trunk-centric runway, Ghesquière introduced looks that centred on fluidity — apparent with designs that mirror a sense of juxtapositions and opposites. Elements that one might not consider to be ideal matches were created with seamless assimilation through the mind of the Creative Director.
It’s clear that a maximalist approach was chosen for the Louis Vuitton Women’s Spring Summer 2025 collection. Knee-length dresses, cropped boxy jackets and sleek jumpsuits come together melodiously. Taking the idea of what’s considered the “Old Money” aesthetic in this zeitgeist, Ghesquière took a different route with this collection. In addition, many of the pieces seen on the runway featured ‘Studies In the Past’ by artist Laurent Grasso.
Here are nine best looks from the Louis Vuitton Women’s Spring Summer 2025 show.
