Andrea Pompilio has just unveiled the Onitsuka Tiger Spring Summer 2025 Yellow collection. Here’s all you need to know.
For Onitsuka Tiger, this year is filled with ample celebration and triumph. After all, 2024 marks the Japanese fashion house’s 75th anniversary since its founding by Kihachiro Onitsuka. From one-of-a-kind activations in Paris and Tokyo to limited edition collections such as the new collaboration with DoiTung, there’s just so much going on for Onitsuka Tiger.
During Milan Fashion Week, the brand showcased its Spring Summer 2025 Yellow collection — a dreamy and youthful ensemble by Creative Director Andrea Pompilio. With “Urban Beats” as the theme behind the show, Onitsuka Tiger’s latest collection is a vivid observation at self-expression, intimacy, strength and vulnerability. Held at Milan’s iconic Rotonda Della Besana, Onitsuka Tiger took guests on a voyage of contemporary styles.
Textured knits, cargo shorts, Safari jackets and tuxedo vests take centre stage on the runway alongside one-piece rubberised high summer sandals and clogs with faux fur. In addition, Onitsuka Tiger also teamed up with Wolford on a capsule collection that was revealed at the presentation. The series created with the skinwear brand includes everything from stockings and draped tops to skin-to-skin dresses.
We love the simplicity and ease that run throughout the design. Individually, the pieces are chic additions to any wardrobe. But, they are also made for layering — be it the oversized off-white cardigan with a baggy cargo shorts or a black sleeveless vest with matching slacks. Soft yet captivating, the Onitsuka Tiger Spring Summer 2025 Yellow collection captures the very essence of this zeitgeist in fashion.
Stars in attendance at the show include Malaysia’s very own Awal Ashaari, Scha Alyahya and Christinna Kuan as well as MOMO of TWICE, Rashmika Mandanna, Baifern, Normani, Woo Do-hwan, Benjamin Kheng, Heart Evangelista and Hayato Isomura. Guests were sat together with bright yellow backpacks placed on their respective seats.
Here are nine best looks from the Onitsuka Tiger Spring Summer 2025 show.
