At New York City’s 46 Lafayette Street, Ralph Lauren showcased its Fall 2026 collection. With stars such as Anne Hathaway, Lana Del Rey, Ariana DeBose, Kim Doyeon, Krystal Jung, Kelly Chen and Mae Tan in attendance, the show was a celebration of women who go after their ambitions without fear. It was about honouring those who are not afraid to stay true to themselves while they chase their respective dreams.
Here’s what Ralph Lauren himself had to say about the Fall 2026 ensemble: “I love the adventure of fashion. My Fall 2026 collection is inspired by that kind of renegade spirit and the confidence of the woman who will wear it in her own personal way — to tell her own story. She respects the timeless quality of things from the past but reinvents them for now. Her style is not defined by time. It’s enduring”.
So, what did we spot on the runway? One thing’s for sure, textures were crucial to the designs, ranging from shearlings and embroideries to jacquards and tweeds. For example, there’s the thistle-hued silk velvet dress and the cashmere sweater with cracked metallic foil. According to show notes, it’s said over 50 custom materials were utilised throughout the Ralph Lauren Fall 2026 collection. And speaking of craftsmanship, Ralph Lauren also introduced an array of artisanal elements like a top with glass-bead fringing.
For the Ralph Lauren Fall 2026 looks, we also noticed the interweaving between strength and softness. There’s a sense of playfulness mixed within the polished designs. There’s the exciting mix between a silk floral jacquard pants with a floral embroidery-adorned sweater as well as styles such as the knitted cashmere made using Nubby Donegal tweed and the double-breasted windowpane wool coats.
Oh and yes, there’s now a mini crossbody version of the popular Ralph Bag — which is also available in a tote format.
