Before his breakout role as Eddie Munson in Stranger Things season 4, Joseph Quinn was a relatively unknown name despite being in some great movies and TV shows. But ever since his stint as Munson in 2022, Quinn has bagged several significant roles in movies like Gladiator II (2024), Warfare (2025) and The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025).
With a fair share of BBC historical dramas under his belt, such as Les Misérables (2018), Howards End (2017) and Dickensian (2015-2016), he started with smaller roles and slowly worked his way up to more commercially exposed movies and TV shows. Quinn also guest-starred as a Stark soldier named Koner in season 7, episode 4, “The Spoils of War” of Game of Thrones (2011-2019).
Now, he is joining the big leagues with Marvel Cinematic Universe titles like The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) and Avengers: Doomsday (2026) as Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch. His character is the sibling of Sue Storm (played by Vanessa Kirby), or Invisible Girl, in the latest reboot, which kicks off MCU’s Phase Six.
