98,669 Indonesians in Sabah eligible to vote

Kota Kinabalu: Some 98,669 Indonesians working and staying in Sabah and Labuan are eligible to vote in the general election of Indonesia on Feb 14, 2024.

Consul-General here, Rafail Walangitan, said they are in the West Coast areas, East Coast namely Kinabatangan, Sandakan, Telupid, Tongod, Beluran and Sukau, except for those in Tawau, Kalabakan, Kunak, Semporna and Lahad Datu, which are under the responsibility of the Consulate in Tawau.

He said the National Indonesia Election Commission for overseas, especially Sabah, have reminded these voters of their rights to select election candidates of their choice to lead their country.
