Everton great Peter Reid admits he's a fan of Tom Davies.
The midfielder scored in victory at Southampton last weekend.
Reid told the Liverpool Echo: "He's shown a desire, he's looking to hit forward passes, he's good with or without the ball and he's notched against Southampton at the back stick.
"I think his form has been terrific and it just shows you. It looks as though he's got a desire which is great, the boy has done terrifically well.
"He's got all the abilities [to be a top player]. He's got a good engine and a good attitude about the game.
"He's, in my opinion, been Everton's best player recently."
